An orientation program for our first-year students was held on 1 October 2026 in classroom D-305 as part of the 2026–2027 academic year.
The program began with a general introduction by Vice Chair of the Department Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Buğdaycı, who provided information about the department, the curriculum, academic procedures, and key points students should be aware of throughout their undergraduate studies.
The session continued with Res. Asst. Dr. Nergiz Zeynep Kanmaz Keleşoğlu, who informed the students about internship procedures, application processes, and important requirements related to their compulsory internships.
Erasmus Departmental Coordinator Lect. Dr. Merve Ceylan then introduced the Erasmus+ Student Mobility Programme, outlining the eligibility criteria, application and evaluation procedures, and the department’s current Erasmus+ agreements.
Quality Commission Student Representative Simay Aksoy briefly introduced student involvement in quality assurance processes. Proses Club President Eren Bayrak then presented the club and its activities.
The orientation program concluded with a question-and-answer session, during which students had the opportunity to raise questions about academic and departmental matters.
