As part of the 2026–2027 academic year, the Department of Chemical Engineering organized a “Laboratory Working Principles and Safety Training” session for students on 1 October 2026 in classroom D-306.
The training was delivered by Lect. Dr. Cihad Karaçam and focused on the essential rules for conducting laboratory work safely. Students were also informed about potential laboratory hazards, the proper use of personal protective equipment, and the precautions to be taken to minimize risks during practical work.
The session aimed to strengthen students’ awareness of laboratory safety before the start of laboratory courses and concluded with a question-and-answer session.
